Understand how LemReveal classifies companies into Hot, Warm, Building, and Early buying stages.
Every identified company is automatically classified into one of four **buying stages** based on their behavioral signals. This helps you prioritize outreach and forecast pipeline.
## The Four Stages ### 🔥 Hot Companies showing strong buying intent: - Visited pricing, demo, or contact pages - 3+ visits in the past 7 days - Intent score above 80 - Multiple people from the company visiting (committee forming) ### 🟡 Warm Companies actively evaluating: - Visited case studies, features, or comparison pages - 2+ visits in the past 14 days - Intent score 60-79 - Returning visitors with increasing session depth ### 🔨 Building Companies in early evaluation: - Multiple page views per session - Return visits with moderate engagement - Intent score 40-59 - Browsing product-related content ### 🌱 Early Companies in awareness stage: - Single visit or blog-only browsing - Intent score below 40 - Short session duration - No pricing or demo page visits
## Where Stages Appear Buying stages are visible in: - The **Leads** list as color-coded badges - **Company profiles** in the intelligence summary - The **Pipeline Revenue Calculator** widget - **Outreach Hub** templates (auto-injected as `{{buying_stage}}`) - **CSV exports** as a dedicated column
## Stage Transitions Stages update automatically as new sessions are tracked. A company that was "Early" last week can move to "Hot" if they visit your pricing page three times. The system re-evaluates stages with every new session. You can also set up [automation rules](/help/automation-rules) to trigger actions on stage changes — for example, send a Slack alert when any company moves to Hot.
