KVK name changes

    Netherlands company name change alerts

Companies rename themselves after a rebrand, a sale, or a reputation problem — and the old name quietly stops matching your records. The Kamer van Koophandel keeps the same identifier through a rename, so we follow the KVK-nummer, not the name, and email you when the registered name it publishes changes.

    KVK alerts are temporarily paused

We cannot currently re-query this register, so we are not taking new watches for Netherlands. Searching still works. Search the Netherlands register.

    What the alert contains

The previous registered name and the new registered name

The KVK-nummer, which does not change, so your records stay linked

The register named, and the date and time we read it

A link to the official entry showing the current name

    Who watches this

CRM and finance owners who need contracts, invoices and supplier records to still match the legal entity a year from now.

What this does not do. We report what the KVK publishes and when it changed. We do not score credit risk, screen for sanctions or adverse media, or predict failure.

The official source is Kamer van Koophandel , which remains free to search and authoritative.

    Questions

How do I get alerted to name changes at a Netherlands company?

Find the company by KVK-nummer or name, add it to your watchlist, and we re-query the Kamer van Koophandel on a schedule. When the published record differs from our last snapshot, you get an email with the old value, the new value and the date we checked.

Is this the official KVK record?

Yes. Every alert is raised from the Kamer van Koophandel's own published record, and the email links back to it. We never infer a change from a third-party source and label it official.

    What does it cost?

Watching up to 3 companies is free where a register supports re-checking. $12 a month covers 50 companies. A one-off $19 company intelligence dossier is separate from monitoring.

    How often do you check?

On a schedule, and only against the register itself — so there is never a predicted or speculative change. If the KVK has not published anything new, you hear nothing, which is the answer most people want.
