Questions
What is a company verification certificate?
A dated PDF showing a company's official registry record at the moment it was checked — legal name, registration number, status, legal form, registered address and, where the register publishes them, officers — together with the source URL and a public verification link a counterparty can open to confirm the check was really made.
How is this different from searching the register myself?
Nothing stops you searching the register — our search is free and always will be. What the register does not give you is a filed, timestamped document, a single format across jurisdictions, or a notification when the record you filed stops being accurate.
Which registers can you verify against?
Verification works against every register our search covers. Automatic re-checking is live for United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Ireland, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, because those are the registers we can genuinely re-query on a schedule.
Can I verify a list of companies at once?
Yes — Verify Teams takes a list of registration numbers or company names, returns a validated, de-duplicated CSV plus a certificate per company, and re-runs the whole list monthly so your onboarding files never go stale.
Is the free record PDF going away?
No. A single record PDF stays free, with no account needed. The paid tiers exist for people who do this repeatedly and need the checks to stay valid.
