Companies House officers

    United Kingdom director change alerts

The Companies House publishes who runs a company, and it changes without announcement. We store the officer list from the official record, re-check it on a schedule, and email you when someone is appointed or removed — with the previous value, the new value, the register named and the date it was checked.

    What an officer alert contains

Director or officer appointed, with the name as the register publishes it

Director or officer removed or resigned

The previous stored value and the new value, side by side

The register (Companies House), the Company number watched and the date we checked

What this does not do. We report the officer list the Companies House publishes. We do not build director profiles across companies, screen for sanctions or adverse media, or score anyone's risk. Beneficial ownership is only shown where the register itself publishes it.

The official source is Companies House , which remains free to search and authoritative.

    Questions

How do I track director changes at a United Kingdom company?

Find the company by Company number or name, add it to your watchlist, and we re-query the Companies House on a schedule. When the officer list published by the register differs from our last snapshot, you get an email naming the person, the change and the date we checked.

Does the Companies House publish directors?

Yes — that is why officer alerts are available for United Kingdom. Registers that do not publish officers get name, status, address and legal-form alerts only; we never infer an officer change from a third-party source and label it official.

    How fast is the alert?

As fast as the register publishes. We check on a schedule and raise an alert only when the Companies House record itself has changed, so there are no speculative or predicted changes.

    What does it cost?

Monitoring up to 5 companies is free. A one-off $19 verification adds a dated, source-cited record of a company plus 12 months of automatic re-checks.
