Global Company Registry Reliability Observatory
Daily measurements of whether a tested company-record route returns a usable record for a known company. This is an observed probe result, not an uptime SLA.
This complements the Registry Access Index: the Index measures real-world search access; this Observatory uses scheduled known-company checks. A missing scheduled probe is reported as missing, never assumed to be downtime.
Dataset version 2026-10-23 · reporting data through 23 Oct 2026, 03:40 UTC · 42 observed UTC days. Raw probe runs are collapsed into one final completed observation per tested route and UTC day in the table.
Latest citable finding
A dated snapshot, not a permanent claim
As of 23 Oct 2026, 03:40 UTC, 14 of 38 monitored company-register routes returned a usable known-company record in their latest scheduled probe. 20 routes were degraded or unavailable. 4 routes were recorded as a coverage gap and excluded from registry reliability rates.
Quote the date and link to this page. The result describes the tested route and scheduled probe, not a government-service SLA.
Global tested-route snapshot
The latest completed probe for each tested company-record route, shown as three distinct outcomes.
Observed through LemReveal's tested routes; not a claim of government-service uptime. The downloaded graphic includes this qualification and a source line.
30-day comparison table
A register enters this table only after at least 25 valid daily observations in the trailing 30 days. This prevents a short run of checks from becoming a misleading international ranking.

Published incident taxonomy
These classifications describe the observed probe path, not a confirmed cause at the government registry. We publish a specific category only where the scheduled probe stored one.
- known company absent395 days
- no public cause classification recorded190 days
- upstream or transport75 days
- timeout12 days
Historical events without a safely attributable stored category remain explicitly unclassified. They are not retrospectively labelled as a bot challenge, timeout, parser error, or registry outage.
Reuse this evidence
The dated JSON and CSV make this finding checkable and reusable. They let readers recompute the published rates; they do not expose the internal seed and connector details needed to independently repeat every probe.
Version 2026-10-23. To reproduce a dated view, use ?as_of=YYYY-MM-DD; country filters use ?country=GB. Reuse with attribution under CC BY 4.0.
How to read this measurement
A success means the scheduled known-company probe produced a usable record through the tested route. A degraded or failed answer is an incident day. A coverage gap means a global fallback answered instead of the national register; it is deliberately excluded from the national-register success-rate denominator.
The unit being compared is a tested company-record route. Some rows are national-register routes, while others are specialist official or aggregated sources; the named source identifies the route tested, not necessarily a complete country registration system.
Probe duration is labelled as end-to-end LemReveal duration because it can include connector or fallback processing. It is not presented as direct registry response time. Read the full methodology and limitations before comparing registers.
Where a country has enough observation history, the Registry Access Index provides the complementary question: how open and usable the free public routes are for ordinary people.
For a defensible comparison, use the 30-day table only after its stated threshold is met. Before then, the useful finding is a dated status snapshot or the underlying observation record—not a league table of countries.
