    Obchodný register Slovenskej republiky vedú registrové súdy, zatiaľ čo Register právnických osôb (RPO) Štatistického úradu SR zlučuje údaje o všetkých právnických osobách a podnikateľoch. Každý subjekt má osemmiestne IČO, k tomu DIČ a prípadne IČ DPH.
