- Check the exact legal name, former names and BRN. An old CR number may need mapping before the current search can identify the entity. Do not treat unavailable documents or restricted personal particulars as proof that an officer does not exist.
- What the record cannot establish
- A company-name match is not a complete company-particulars report. Document charges and inspection restrictions apply separately. Preserve appointment and filing dates, and do not infer beneficial ownership or unrestricted signing authority from a director name.
