    When the search returns nothing
    Try the legal entity name rather than a product or trading brand. If the business is not a company or LLP, an absent MCA match does not settle whether the business has another valid registration.
    What the record cannot establish
    Portal access, signatory information and purchased documents can differ. A DIN identifies a director, not ownership of every company associated with that person. Do not infer unrestricted signing authority from an appointment.
